1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Mánahöll ehf. (Kópavogur, Iceland) — "Moonstreak", "we", "us". By creating an account you accept them. If you're using Moonstreak for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 16, give us a real email address, and keep your sign-in (Google, GitHub, or email magic link) secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account — streak leaderboards depend on it.
3. Plans & billing
Side Quest is free, forever, within its limits. Main Quest is $5/month or $36/year (or local equivalent), billed by our payment processor until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings — you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. If a price ever changes, existing subscribers get 30 days' notice and the old price for one more billing cycle.
4. The game layer
XP, levels, streaks, freezes, quests, and Sparks are entertainment mechanics. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or redeemed, and we may rebalance them to keep the game fair (we announce rebalances in the changelog). Automating fake time entries to farm XP is both against these terms and, frankly, a spectacular misunderstanding of the product.
5. Your content
Time entries, project names, notes, invoices — all yours. You give us only the license needed to store, process, and display them back to you. We claim nothing else. Export lives in Settings and works on every plan.
6. Acceptable use
Don't break the law with Moonstreak, don't attack or overload the service, don't resell it, and don't reverse-engineer other users' data out of it. That's the whole list.
7. Warranties & liability
Moonstreak is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it up (see the Security page), but we can't promise perfection, and we're not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
8. Termination
You can delete your account any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms — with warning, except in serious cases. If we ever shut Moonstreak down (no plans to), you get at least 90 days' notice and full export.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and disputes belong to the courts of Iceland. Consumers in the EEA keep whatever mandatory protections their home country provides.
